Speaking with clouds
Hi, cuties.
Worlds have been colliding and shifting and we are witnessing it all.
Today, I don’t really have any grand insights or tactical action items for you sweet folks.
I just have some takeaways that have been repeating in my head over the past few months, and for the year to come:
It is a beautiful thing to be loved.
It is a beautiful thing to love.
It is a beautiful thing to speak and act on one’s truth… in an attempt to love others, and in conjunction, to learn to love oneself.
The question will always remain: What did we come onto this earth to be, when all the smoke fades away?

I’ll leave you with:
some very sweet photos of a time I cherish: of myself and a person I love very much, traveling through Japan with lil’ rail passes.
for those who stick around till the end… a powerful and timely talk by Viet Thanh Nguyen - author of The Sympathizer - on: Asian-Americanness, cultures considered “other” by American history, and what universal solidarity can mean for all of these identities.
for those who stick around even further - a lovely link to an article by a graphic novelist that I adore, Mira Jacobs.I ADORE THIS WOMAN.
It’s a beautiful thing, to sit with soft clouds.
Much love,
Raha
PS:
Mira's beautiful graphic article
Looking forward to seeing you cuties in the new year. <3
